After multiple failures on our Shelter Logic Garage-in-a-Box, we decided to take matters into our own hands and build a permanent barn door facing. This is step 1 of making this shed to last long term in the high desert where UV rays and high winds have shredded the covers. Step 2 will be covering the top with metal paneling. Hopefully one day soon!

I have a similar looking hoophouse and an earth wall would be VERY heavy.  Just looking at the pic here, I don't even see any crossbracing on the metal hoops to keep it from collapsing.  In my hoophouse I used sliding glass doors in the front w. lumber and that held up well.  The entire back blew out last July (lumber and OSB) and I should post some pics so you don't do that.  It held for 10 years.
